On Wednesday, we had an introduction to the Laravel Framework. We talked a little about the history of Laravel, what makes it different from other frameworks, as well as some real coding solutions. This was presented by organizer Eric Van Johnson who has been coding with the Laravel framework professionally for years. We also went over the basics of starting a new laravel application, to some of the basic workflows, and touched on more advanced topics such as queuing.
