On Wednesday, we looked at message queues and when to use and what to expect with Maksym Bodnar. His main focus points were what are message queues, why you'd want to implement MQ, and what you should be aware/think of before implementing MQs. On Wednesday, we had an introduction to the Laravel Framework. We talked a little about the history of Laravel, what makes it different from other frameworks, as well as some real coding solutions. This was presented by organizer Eric Van Johnson who has been coding with the Laravel framework professionally for years.
